Bryce Petty, Sean Mannion among Senior Bowl passers trying to be No. 3

The NFL draft’s quarterback pecking order beyond Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota might not have gotten much clearer at the Senior Bowl. Baylor’s Bryce Petty and Oregon State’s Sean Mannion were among those trying to lay claim to that position leading up to today’s game ( 1 p.m., NFL Network) in Mobile, Alabama. Winston and Mariota are projected as early first-round picks. Then there’s the other guys. Petty and Mannion are joined by Colorado State’s Garrett Grayson, Alabama’s Blake Sims, East Carolina’s Sean Carden and SE Louisiana’s Bryan Bennett. All put up big numbers in college, but couldn’t distinguish themselves as the third guy this week. – AP
