Bonds mean safer schools

I have been a part of Central Valley School District for the past 47 years, as a kindergarten through grade 12 student, parent of three students and now as a grandparent.

I recently had the opportunity to visit some of schools and review their current state. I was quite surprised at the condition of many of these schools and the safety risks that currently exist. I believe there are many districts in our area that share similar conditions.

I would encourage everyone to visit some of their area schools to see their condition. Hopefully, you will do the right thing and support the upcoming bonds in your community. Supporting these bonds will provide your children, grandchildren and neighbors a safer and better learning environment for many years.
