Obituary: Colbert, Adeline

COLBERT, Adeline Adeline Colbert of Spokane Valley went to be with the Lord January 22, 2015.

Born December 6, 1921 in North Dakota to Edla and Clarence Weberg.

Moved to Hayden Lake, Idaho in 1934.

Taught school in Northern Idaho in 1941- 1942.

Married Vern (Ed) Colbert in 1942.

Graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School and North Idaho College.

Graduated from Whitworth College with BA and Master’s Degree.

Taught Special programs in Spokane, WA for many years.

Survived by children: Darrel E. Colbert, Gary L. Colbert, Nancy S. Colbert-Milholland, Linda L. Colbert-Hoard, Janis K. Colbert-Whitaker and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters with one surviving brother, Nels Weberg.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, January 28th at 11:00am at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
