Obituary: Dawson, David Lee

DAWSON, David Lee Dave was born in Fletcher, OK, to Lloyd and Christine Burch Dawson on July 28, 1929, and passed away on January 19, 2015, in Spokane WA.

He married Dolores Smith on October 29, 1948.

They were married 66 years.

Dave is survived by his wife Dolores of Spokane and his four daughters: Linda (Randy) Kaiser of Spokane, WA.

; Cinda (John) Taylor of Renton, WA.

; Genny (Dick) Webb of Big Fork, MT.

; and Susan (Kerry) Tritt of Spokane, WA.

He was blessed with eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dave is also survived by two brothers and one sister: Melvin (Bertilla) Dawson of Weed, CA; Danny (Dawn) Dawson of Mt.

Shasta, CA; and Margaret Ann (Chuck) Chitwood of Mt.

Shasta, CA.

Dave was Director of Security for Rosauers Stores from 1981 until his retirement in 1995.

He had great love for his family and a never ending passion for golf (Wandermere and Lake Shastina golf courses), hockey (Spokane Chiefs), basketball, (Gonzaga Bulldogs) and football (Seattle Seahawks).

The family would like to thank Dr. Orme, Dr.

Trail, Dr. Vanderbosch and the care teams at Avalon Care Center and Gentiva.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mount Shasta, CA.
