Obituary: Slagle-Hoffmann, Linda Susan

Age 54

SLAGLE- HOFFMANN, Linda Susan (Age 64) Passed away Monday, January 19, 2015.

Linda was born June 22, 1950, in Williston, ND.

She is predeceased by her father Gordon Slagle.

Linda is survived by her mother June Slagle, sons Paul and LeMan Hoffmann, daughter Mary Melby, granddaughters Lilly, Kaitlin, Olivia, and Zoe, and nine brothers and sisters.

She was married to Gary Hoffmann of Watford City, ND November 22, 1969.

Linda was an Administrative Assistant at Mercy Medical in Williston, ND and Sykes in Minot, ND.

She was entrepreneurial in painting and carpentry, often working with her brothers and sisters.

She was an involved church member, a spiritual guide and source of love.

She served on the Board of ND Right to Life and was active in her community.

She enjoyed making cards and sharing the love they expressed with family and friends.

To her three children she was always generous and could relate to us with her own life experiences.

She was mother, homemaker, doctor, coach, defender, the fire department, police captain, and our biggest fan.

She taught the greatest of life’s lessons, seek the truth, be accountable for yourself and responsible to others.

We are grateful to God in His loving guidance to lead us to the person He wants us to be through the interactions we’ve had with our mother.

Services will be held at the Valley Real Life Church 1831 S. Barker Rd., Greenacres, WA.

On Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:00am.

Linda’s final resting place will be in North Dakota where her life will be celebrated during a summer family gathering.
