Obituary: Williams, Darlene

WILLIAMS, Darlene Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 after a long battle with Parkinson’s.

She was 70 years old.

She lived her adult life in Washington most of it in the Spokane area, and attended Freeman High School.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years, Monty Williams; and by their three children: Annette Belfield, Rus Williams, Christine Lang, their spouses and six grandchildren.

Darlene is most remembered as a kind, hospitable person who devoted her life to her family, passing along to them her strong faith in her Creator.

She had been active as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1968 and volunteered much of her time in a worldwide Bible education work and activities associated with this.

She was a diligent Bible student and helped many others by word and example.

Darlene and her family were sustained through her difficult health by such Bible promises as Revelation 21:4, where God promises to someday wipe out all tears, death, sorrow and pain.

Her family and friends will be comforted by a memorial service at 6pm on Saturday, January 31 at Mt.

Spokane High School, 6015 E. Mt.

Spokane Park Drive, Mead, WA.
