UI  Vandals

Coming up: Saturday at Eastern Washington, 2 p.m.

Outlook: Idaho finally snapped its four-game Big Sky losing streak on Saturday with an 83-79 home win over Northern Colorado. It didn’t come without nervous moments. The Vandals nearly blew a 24-point lead in the process, leading by one in the closing minute before pushing the lead back out to close the win. The Vandals will need to avenge an 89-86 Jan. 10 loss to Eastern Washington to get back to .500 in conference play. Idaho is hoping Venky Jois, having sat out the last three games for EWU, keeps him slow this Saturday. The Australia native was 8 of 11 from the field the last time these two teams met.

Idaho leaders

Rebounding: Bira Seck, 7.6

Assists: Mike Scott, 5.4
