Miller extends Lilac lead to two strokes after a 66

Brian Miller shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday to extend his lead to two strokes after 54 holes in the 52nd Lilac City Invitational at The Fairways.

Miller, of Indian Wells, California, is at 20-under 196 following rounds of 65-65-66. Tyler Falk, of Springfield, Oregon, is alone in second after shooting 66-198. Jesse Schutte, of Florence, Oregon, moved into third place with a 65-199.

Palm Springs, California’s Kevin PomArleau (70), Tacoma’s Shane Prante (68) and Bremerton’s Conner Robbins (65) share fourth place, five shots behind Miller. Clarkston’s Mike Roters (68) is at 204. Manito assistant Corey Prugh (67) and defending champion Tony Robydek (68) are at 205.

The final group will tee off in today’s final round at 12:30 p.m.

Jim Coleman, of Billings, leads the race for low amateur. He shot 71-213, and holds a four-shot lead.
