Love the trail, but please add toilets

My husband and I ride our bikes every day on the Centennial Trail in Kendall Yards.

We are so pleased that Greenstone was able to buy Kendall Yards and has the resources to make it so nice because the trail is so smooth for riding and biking. The houses are beautiful and priced so people can afford to buy them.

One thing I would like to see them do is put a public toilet for people to use. I have seen men and little children hide behind bushes because there is no place to go. There are two really good spots for a toilet. One would be in Olmsted Park or the other one could be in the southeast corner by the solar panel near Olmsted Park. It would be appreciated by the walkers and riders. I notice they have bags for people to pick up dog waste but nothing for people to use.

Thanks, firefighters, for excellent work

We have a place on Long Lake and we watched a huge fire develop into a giant fire. It only took crews two days to bring this devastating fire mostly under control.

We drove over Rail Canyon Road and down to Highway 231 and the fire was devastating but these firefighters were still there fighting and let me tell you, we were so impressed. There were many, many homes where the fire came within a few feet of the buildings and they were saved thanks to the hard work and diligence of the firefighters.

What a wonderful job you all did. My hat is off to all of you … you saved millions of dollars worth of homes, lives, including animals. Bravo to you.
