I-90 lanes reopen after fire near Vantage

The westbound lanes of Interstate 90 have reopened between George and Vantage after a brush fire near the freeway forced officials to halt traffic for several hours today. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office earlier issued an evacuation order for campers at Old Vantage Highway on the Columbia River due to the fire. No structures are threatened.
