Adding restrooms on trail up to Spokane Parks Department

In response to the letter “ Love the trail, but please add toilets,” published July 16: We agree that additional restrooms will be necessary as usage of this trail section grows. While Greenstone constructed the Centennial Trail though Kendall Yards, it is owned and maintained by the Spokane Parks Department. Any decision on future improvements, including restrooms, is up to the city.

Restrooms are available to the public at the Nest Plaza trailhead inside the Kendall Yards Welcome Center at 1335 W. Summit Parkway.
