Cheney Icehawks Golf Classic - Come take a swing to support the area’s newest Junior A hockey club. Tournament will be a four-person scramble format. Dinner and a raffle drawing will be included. Proceeds from the golf tournament will establish the Icehawk Scholarship Fund which will help provide talented athletes who are economically challenged with the opportunity to play hockey at this elite level. Additionally, proceeds will help fund the Icehawks as they establish themselves as a dominant team in the Northern Pacific Hockey League. Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Links Golf Club, 10623 N. Bunco Night at Camp Dart-Lo - A fundraiser for Camp Fire’s Camp Dart-Lo Lodge renovations and celebrating Camp Dart-Lo’s 70th birthday. For ages 16 and older. 10th Annual Teeing Up for Kids - Funds raised from the tournament support our education initiatives, including the Ready for Kindergarten program. You could win a new Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec in our Hecla Mining Hole-in-One contest. Other hole-in-one opportunities include prizes such as a Sharp 40-inch LCD TV, a set of Callaway Irons, and airline tickets. Prizes for play include foursomes to many regional golf courses, with the winning team getting a Stay and Play Package from Circling Raven Golf Club. Youth FootGolf Tournament - Radio Spokane and Gift of Golf are putting on the Youth FootGolf Tournament at Eagle Ridge Short Course. FootGolf combines the grace of soccer and the strategy of golf. Age brackets: 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, junior high (13-14) and high school (15-18). Includes 10 holes of FootGolf, lunch and a chance to win prizes. This is a scramble format tournament, with a shotgun start. You must bring your own soccer ball. One adult caddy per team of five. Either form your own or be placed on a team. 2015 Spokane & Northern Idaho Walk for Apraxia - Onsite registration starts at 9 a.m. and walk starts at 10 a.m. Every dollar raised helps support the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association.
