2: Watershed 2015

3: Stateline Music Festival

The Nashville North, a country bar co-owned by country singer Jeremy McComb (a Post Falls native), is hosting three days of music – for those who didn’t move fast enough to get Watershed tickets. Reckless Kelly performs today, Saturday it’s JT Hodges, and Sunday features Cody Canada & The Departed. McComb will play either acoustic sets or with his band (or both) all three days.

4: Spokane Highland Games

Bagpipes. The caber toss. Kilts. Celtic music. Robert Burns. Gaelic lessons. The annual Spokane Highland Games brings Scotland to the Inland Northwest. Opening ceremonies begin at noon and feature five regional bagpipe bands playing together.

When: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday

5: ‘Opera on a Summer’s Eve’

Featured performers are Christina Kowalski, soprano; Dawn Wolski, soprano; Christopher Pfund, tenor; and Aaron St. Clair Nicholson, baritone. Accompanied by Mateusz Wolski on violin and David Demand on piano. Presented by Marlo Faulkner.

6: Art on the Green Festival,

Coeur d’Alene’s busiest weekend offers stuff to see and do from downtown to North Idaho College. Roughly 200 artists will sell their wares on the NIC campus for Art on the Green. In nearby City Park, artisans and food vendors will offer treats as part of the Taste of Coeur d’Alene. Meanwhile, on Sherman Avenue, booths will line the streets offering food, goodies and other wares. Plenty of parking, and shuttle bus service to the west side of the NIC campus from downtown is available during the festival. No dogs allowed at Art on the Green or Taste of Coeur d’Alene, but they are allowed at the Street Fair.

When: Art on the Green – noon to 7:30 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; Taste of Coeur d’Alene – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday; Street Fair – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

7: Twelfth Night

Shakespeare’s play comes to Spokane in a joint production from Eastern Washington University and the Modern Theater.
