Arts calendar

KYRS/Thin Air Community Radio – A new, locally produced community radio program highlighting local galleries and artists airs each Thursday at 3 p.m. on KYRS-Thin Air Community Radio 88.1 and 92.3 FM and streaming live at kyrs.org. Hosted by local artists Jennifer LaRue and Jesse Swanson.

Auditions

Northwest Sacred Music Chorale – Auditions will be with artistic director Stan McDaniel and will last 10-15 minutes. They will include a short interview, vocalizing and singing a few lines of a hymn. A prepared solo piece is not required. Email chorale@ NWSMC.org or call (208) 446-2333 to choose an audition time. Community Presbyterian Church, 417 N. William St., Post Falls. First Night Spokane Juried Art Show – Visit https://firstnightspokane.org/juried-art-show- signup for an application form and entry details. Artists will submit digital images via email to gina@firstnightspokane.org. There is an entry fee of $5 for each item entered (two entries per person allowed).
