1 “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Invitational” Today through Aug. 29, with opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Spokane Art School Gallery, 811 W. Garland Ave. This year’s themed invitational gets all Jules Verne, with works by Sondra Barrington, Roger DuBois, Larry Ellingson, Jo Fyfe, Lynne Haines, Rick Singer & Hilary Hart, Sally Jablonsky, Tim Lord, Dan McCann, Mason McCuddin, Lindsey Merrell, Karmen Naccarato, Judy Patterson, Tom Quinn, Bernadette Vielbig, Gordon Wilson and Angelika Wilson-Wipp. The Front Porch Trio will provide the music tonight.
