Poster display at WSU Spokane illustrates history of boycott movements

Historic boycott posters will be displayed through June 12 in the ground floor gallery of the Phase One building on Washington State University’s Spokane campus, 688 N. Riverpoint Drive.

The free exhibit, “Boycott! The Art of Economic Activism,” is designed to highlight the power of boycott movements and features 58 historic posters from more than 20 boycotts, including the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the United Farm Workers’ grape and lettuce boycott.

The gallery is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.
