Holster the sarcasm

Regarding Thom Foote’s May 9 diatribe (“Letter writer saves the day”), I fear that Thom may have shot himself in the foot.

Using sarcasm, ridicule and hyperbole to lessen the impact of letters written by freedom fighters for the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment isn’t a good way to win an argument.

Dripping sarcasm, like emotionalism and hysteria, has no place in the gun debate.
