Obituary: Langton, Stanley N.

LANGTON, Stanley N. (Age 77) Stanley was born on August 20, 1937 in Walla Walla, WA to Morris and Marjorie Langton.

He was the youngest of seven children.

Stanley graduat-ed from Walla Walla High School in 1955 and attended Central Wash-ington University, working toward a music degree.

He loved classical and jazz music and often sang in the church choir.

He came to Spokane in 1968.

In 1980 he married Jeanette Heller and they enjoyed 35 wonderful years together.

Stanley worked for Safeway stores for 37 years until his retirement in 1997.

Stanley had numerous hobbies such as camping, fishing, golfing, motorcycling and working and building things in his workshop.

He did a lot of remodeling in his homes and was a huge Mariners fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three older brothers and one sister.

Stanley is survived by his wife Jeanette; three children: Marla (Bob) Speer of McMinnville, OR, Tim (Lori) Langton of Monroe, WA, and Norman (Libby) Langton of Wenatchee, WA; two adopted children: David (Nichloe) Berry of Pocatello, ID and Sonja (Eddie) Alfaro of San Diego, CA; one sister: Gertrude Chandler of Kent, WA; one brother: Floyd Langton of Bremerton, WA and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00AM at Heritage Funeral Home.
