Jundt Art Museum, Gonzaga University “Close In: Between Two Worlds” series featuring ceramic works by Marilyn Lyoshir and paintings by Shani Marchant, through Sept. 12. Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture “The Artist’s Palette: Through the Lens of Dean Davis” demonstrates the depth and beauty Davis has found in these important artistic instruments, through June. Also: “Past Forward: Contemporary Art from the Emirates,” traveling exhibit as part of a cultural diplomacy program, with more than 50 paintings, sculptures and photographs by 25 notable artists from the United Arab Emirates, through June 28; and “100 Stories – A Centennial Exhibition” looks into the regions past, present and future, and demonstrates the MAC’s role in maintaining, preserving and interpreting the region through themes of the American West.
