Raise a Glass Fundraiser - Wine-tasting and appetizers, with non-alcoholic drinks, too. Also, wine bottle raffle and a silent auction. Donations benefit the Spokane Buddhist Temple. Today, 2-5 p.m., Mirabeau Hotel and Convention Center, 1100 N. Sullivan Road, Spokane Valley. $10 donation.

29th Annual Salvation Army Golf Tournament - Play golf to help fund Salvation Army programs like Sally’s House, Clothe-A-Child and Camp Gifford. The golf tournament will begin with a barbecue luncheon, followed by an 18-hole scramble with prize holes. The evening portion of the event will begin with an awards ceremony, followed by dinner and a silent/live auction. The event is sponsored by Truckers Fore Kids!, a group of local and regional trucking and transport companies with a goal of “keeping kids on the road to success.” Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., Spokane Country Club, 2010 W. Evening of Elegance for Northwest Autism Center - The night will begin with a cocktail hour, live jazz music, silent auction and dinner provided by Feast. CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo - CHAFE 150 Grand Fondo is a timed bike ride with three distances available for riders. The 150-mile route starts and ends at City Beach Park in Sandpoint. The 80-mile riders and their bikes are transported from Sandpoint to the starting line in Troy, Montana. The route winds through the lush river valleys to end at City Beach. The 30-mile loop called the Piccolo Fondo, now in its second year, also begins and ends at City Beach where a celebratory after-ride party and barbecue takes place on the lawn at Trinity. Sandpoint Rotary Club sponsors CHAFE 150 as a fundraiser for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in the Lake Pend Oreille School District. 13th Annual Northwest Christian Golf Tournament - Golf tournament benefiting the Northwest Christian Schools Athletic Fund, specifically to assist in defraying the costs for the NWC Football Program. Scramble format. 8 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee includes green fees, cart rental, lunch and prizes. Golfers can form their own team or be placed in a foursome. Art For the Animals: A Starry Night Celebration With the Animals of River’s Wish - Fifth annual benefit for River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary. Music, refreshments, art and items for auction. Self-guided tours of the sanctuary will allow people to meet the animals that this event benefits in the efforts of saving lives through rescue, education and advocacy. Flea Market - Benefits a group of 30 people traveling in September to a rural village in Kenya. This is a work and witness mission. Some are building a much-needed classroom at the orphanage where they will be staying and others will travel to even more remote villages to offer medical care and supplies.
