Chelsea Gray scores 16 points to lead Sun over Storm

SEATTLE – Chelsea Gray scored 16 points and Connecticut beat the Seattle Storm 79-58 on Tuesday night for the Sun’s fourth straight win.

Camille Little and Alex Bentley each added 12 points and Alyssa Thomas 11.

Gray was 6 of 9 from the field and made all four of her 3-pointers. The Sun (4-1) hit seven of their 14 3-point attempts.

Crystal Langhorne scored 13 points for the Storm (2-3), who shot only 39.6 percent, hitting only 2 of 11 3-pointers. Alysha Clark added 11.

The Sun took their first lead in the second quarter with a 9-0 run, including five points from Gray. Connecticut used a 10-2 run to lead 41-30 at halftime and led thereafter.
