Read TPP before voting

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers needs to explain to her constituents why she supports the super secret Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Has she read this agreement, which is being drafted in secret? The simple fact that Americans don’t get to review this document is absolutely against our founding principles. If she hasn’t read this agreement, then why is she pushing so hard for its passage? If she has read this treaty, then why can’t Americans read it as well, especially if it’s so good for America?

She swore to support and defend the Constitution, yet by voting for this agreement via the fast track process she is once again surrendering Congress’ ability to debate, amend or even disapprove this agreement. She and her colleagues have stated many times how President Obama is so untrustworthy, yet here they give Obama total power to make an agreement on behalf of every American, and in total secret? To put it nicely, is she crazy?

I implore the congresswoman, if she supports anything at all with this secret agreement, that she support and demand that this agreement be debated openly on the floor of the people’s House. American citizens have the right to read and comment on this agreement.
