Not drinking Kool-Aid

Sally Jackson’s take (June 18) on high premiums being caused by Republicans is ludicrous at best. She’s a typical Democrat saying anything that will deflect anyone from being realistic about Obamacare.

And then, as an insult to the intelligence of any thinking person, claiming that the government is better suited to manage health insurance through a single-payer system, and using Medicare and Social Security as examples of governmental low-overhead management, is downright comical.

Between the Congress of both parties and the executive branch’s mismanagement of these programs, who knows how long they can be solvent. Not drinking this Kool-Aid.
