Mark Morris beats W.F. West for 2A girls title

YAKIMA – Tournament MVP Kourtney Eaton dominated the court Saturday, leading Mark Morris to a 69-53 win over W.F. West of Chehalis in the Class 2A girls state championship.

Eaton scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds – seven on the offensive end – while dishing out eight assists.

Her sister, Karley, scored a game-high 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting – including six 3-pointers – for the Monarchs (25-2).

Tiana Parker led W.F. West (22-4) with 17 points. W.F. West beat the Monarchs for the 2014 title. Mark Morris beat W.F. West for the championship in 2013.
