Brandon Bailey of Gonzaga named Pitcher of the Week in WCC baseball

Brandon Bailey, a sophomore right-hander at Gonzaga, was named the West Coast Conference baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Bailey, who received his second weekly WCC award in two years, pitched eight innings of three-hit shutout ball in a 2-0 win over Tulane in New Orleans.

He pitched 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball in improving his record to 3-1 and struck out 10 batters, including the side in his last inning, the eighth.
