Obituary: Wagner, Jewel C.
Age 93
She was born on December 6, 1921 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Jewel grew up in Illinois and after attending business college; she worked for her father in his lumber business.
Jewel and John “Jack” Wagner were wed in 1945.
Together they had five children: Donald, Robert, Gary, Bette, and John.
Jewel and Jack moved to Spokane, WA in 1972.
Christmas was Jewel’s favorite time of year.
She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.
Preceding Jewel in death were her son, John, in 1989 and her son, Robert, in 1998 as well as her husband, Jack in 1998.
Lovingly remembering Jewel are her family members, Donald and Mette Wagner, Gary and Teresa Wagner, Bette and Greg Grenier, Judith and Brian Jerald, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Willow Grove Home and Hospice of Spokane for the loving care they gave their mother.
Memorial donations may be made in Jewel’s name to Hospice of Spokane.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 29, 4pm, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home.
