People: Country singer Aldean weds former ‘Idol’ contestant Kerr
Country star Jason Aldean has married former “American Idol” contestant Brittany Kerr.
A representative for the singer confirmed that the pair tied the knot Saturday in Mexico. They announced their engagement in September.
The 38-year-old Aldean is one of the top-selling acts in country music.
He filed for divorce from his wife, Jessica, in 2013. They have two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl.
Copperfield’s rooftop pool ruptures

The water in magician David Copperfield’s rooftop pool vanished – and flooded his penthouse apartment as well as multiple floors of his New York City apartment building on East 57th Street.
Copperfield’s attorney Ted Blumberg told the New York Post that a malfunctioning pump was to blame for the March 8 incident. He said the entire pool drained through Copperfield’s four-story apartment and others underneath it, soaking walls and floors.
Copperfield was performing in Las Vegas at the time.
Blumberg said the water spared Copperfield’s collection of vintage machines from Coney Island.
He said the pool would be refilled after steps are taken to make sure a similar mishap didn’t happen again.
J. Cole closes out SXSW festival
J. Cole helped close the annual South by Southwest festival with a top notch performance that proved he’s not just one of rap’s best performers, but music in general.
Cole was a crowd favorite at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, delivering his smart rhymes like they were club anthems.
Cole’s performance started Saturday and ended early Sunday morning. He kicked off his set with “Nobody’s Perfect” from his 2011 debut album, but switched to tracks from his critically-acclaimed third release, “2014 Forest Hills Drive.”
The Grammy-nominated performer, who was mentored by Jay Z and is signed to his Roc Nation management company, has launched his own label called Dreamville. Cole’s signees, Bas, Cozz and Omen, also performed Saturday.
