Obituary: Moll, Ann L.

MOLL, Ann Louise (Sherwood) In Loving Memory Ann Moll, 80, passed away on March 19, 2015 in Wenatchee, WA.

Daughter of Elbert and Mabel Sherwood, Ann was born in Spokane, WA, on May 20, 1934.

She is survived by her partner, Roger Peabody, Arizona; her brother, Richard Sherwood of Spokane; her children; Linda Sorensen, Wenatchee, WA, Loren Moll, Spokane, WA and Leona McGhee, Greenacres, WA and was predeceased by her husband Vernon F. Moll.

Raised on Four Mound Prairie, she loved to dance and met her husband, Vernon, of 53 years at the local Grange dances.

She attended Kinman Business School and worked for Singer Sewing Company for over 20 years while farming with her husband and three children.

She enjoyed meeting people and seeing new places.

Her collections of rocks, sea shells and driftwoods show her love of nature and travel.

After retirement they became snowbirds sharing a home in Wenatchee and Arizona.

After the passing of her husband she continued to winter in Arizona and through mutual friends met Roger Peabody.

They have shared their love of music and travel for the past six years.

There will be an open house at 1323 Love Court in Wenatchee for family and friends at noon on Saturday, March 28.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
