Obituary: Talley, James C.
Age 82
His parents were Samuel L. and Etta M. Talley.
After 12 years in the USAF he settled in Spokane with his wife Donna.
They were married 57 years.
He then enjoyed a successful insurance career always setting his own goals and meeting them on his own time.
He was a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table for over twenty years.
Early business retirement gave him time for his golf but also time to join and become active in other groups who were involved in the community.
The Spokane Serra Club was very special to him and in later years he found his Lions Club membership very fulfilling.
Jim was District Governor in Serra Club in 1981-82 and District Governor in Lions in 1996-97.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon L. Talley, and one sister Josephine Whitlow, both in Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, at the home; son Mark J. Talley of Portland, OR; and his brother, William C. Talley in Louisville, KY. We want to thank the many nurses and caregivers for their excellent service and compassion for Jim.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10 am.
