VAN FOSSEN, Ruth Sloan Ruth passed away March 4, 2015 in Spokane.

She was born July 26, 1924 in Spokane to Nola and Lewis Sloan.

Ruth graduated from Richland High School and attended the University of Washington.

She married Thomas Van Fossen on January 1, 1943.

They lived in Yakima and El Paso Texas before moving to Spokane in 1965.

Ruth worked for the Spokane Episcopal Diocese for 30 years.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Linda Van Fossen, Medford OR; sons Tom Van Fossen (Leticia) Worley, ID and Bruce Van Fossen (Laurel) Spokane, WA; three grandchildren: Lewis Van Fossen, Annalisa Campbell and Max Van Fossen and three great-grand- children.

A family gathering was held on March 8, 2015.
