FINCH ABORETUM – Learn how to garden and landscape successfully with native plants in this workshop featuring Kathy Hutton, manager of Plants of the Wild Nursery in Tekoa.

The workshop is hosted by City of Spokane Urban Forestry. It will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Woodland Center, John A. Finch Arboretum, 3404 W. Woodland Blvd.

Valley bus routes topic of meeting

SPOKANE VALLEY – Spokane Transit Authority is hosting a Spokane Valley-specific bus transportation meeting April 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Numerica Building, 14610 E. Sprague Ave.

STA staff and a transportation consultant will lead a discussion on current and potential future bus routes and schedules.
