Obituary: Wickstrom, Mable Areline

WICKSTROM, Mable Areline (Age 88) Mable passed away on March 24, 2015.

She was born in Windsor, CO to Henry and Mollie (Lichtenwaldt) Bechtholdt on February 25, 1927.

Mable was preceded in death by her husband Roy J. Wickstrom in 2007; and son Russell H. Wickstrom in 2011.

She is survived by her son Roy E. (Carleen) Wickstrom of Spokane, WA; daughter-in-law Frances Wickstrom; brother Larry (Betty) Bechtholdt of Cheyenne, WY; sister Eleanor Sperber of Ft. Collins, CO; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Charley) Knapply, Sean Wickstrom, and Brian (Samantha) Wickstrom; and five great-grandchildren, Garrett, Emily, Taylor, Matthew and C.J.

The family extends a very special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Colonial Court for their love and support over the past four years.

Mable was well known for roaming the halls of Colonial Court with her power chair and whistle.

A visitation will be held at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00am.
