Obituary: Nuxoll, Giles Albert “Jay”

Age 68

NUXOLL, Giles Albert “Jay” Giles was born on February 6, 1947, to Albert and Hildegarde Nuxoll in the Our Lady of Consolation Hospital in Cottonwood, ID.

He grew up in Greencreek, ID.

He passed away on April 23, 2015, in Spokane, from cancer.

He graduated from St. Gertrude’s Academy in Cottonwood ID, served our country in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Agrium as a computer programmer.

Jay loved his music.

He played guitar and was lead singer for the Country Jammers Band in Newman Lake.

He was also a member of Tri-Community Grange #1008 and an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Giles is survived by his wife of 37 years Judy; stepson Paul Cotter; brother Ivan (Dina) Nuxoll; sister Nadine (John) Fuchs; granddaughters Rachel and Ashley Cotter; and great-granddaughter Keelee.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Gerald and Rodrick Nuxoll.

A vigil service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden Rd., Otis Orchard WA.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 8, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with committal to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
