Troops deserve medical care

Am I one of the few American citizens who thanks and appreciates all our military has done and is doing to keep the U.S. and its citizens safe and free?

Why then does the government want to again cut a large amount of money for all the medical care these troops so justly deserve? Don’t we have enough returning troops living on the streets, without jobs, hungry and without hope?

We weekly get letters pleading for help for disabled, homeless, wounded vets who have defended this country and deserve the best care, which doesn’t seem to be available for lack of funds; so I ask why, after the price they have paid to ensure our freedom, the government wants to cut funds for help and benefits they so justly deserve? Anyone have an honest answer?

The powers that be seem to find funds to support and pay for a lot of other programs, but seem to be unable to provide the help for the very ones that provide them with the freedom to do this.

Please don’t let our military down. Provide them with all the help they need and deserve.
