Storied Sips: A Drinking History of Spokane - Explore the history and traditions of drinking in America and Spokane. Begin with the science of distillation and its role in civilization, and end with the current popularity of the craft cocktail. Crafted’s Firkin Festival - A firkin is a traditional 9-gallon barrel used in Great Britain for cask conditioning beer. The fun part is using a hammer and stake to puncture the firkin in order to get to the brew. Crafted is tapping firkins from a dozen breweries for the festival. Live music all day.
