Obituary: Arvan, John F.
John leaves behind his partner of 18 years, Ron Gillett, as well as his sister, Ginger Metcalf (Mike), his brother Jim Arvan (Kathy), three nieces: Aimee Charboneau (Kenny), Anna Arvan, Rachel Lange (Joel); five nephews: Matthew Canterbury (Beth), Eli Arvan, Alex Arvan, Noah Arvan (Monica) and Jason Metcalf (Jeannie); great niece and nephew, (Elvis and Owen Fitzgerald).
Also he leaves behind his second Mom, Esther Rounds.
Proceeded in death by his father, Theodore G. Arvan and beloved Mother, Norma Jeanne Arvan, as well as a brother, Robert “Norm” Arvan.
He also leaves behind his dogs, Buddie and Sadie, and his cats, Paco and Sammie.
John was loved by so many friends and family and by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in his memory, to Cancer Care Northwest, Spokanimal or the charity of one’s choice.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2pm at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N. Pines, Spokane Valley.
