Living an Open Hearted Life - Local authors Dr. Russell Kolts, professor of psychology at Eastern Washington University, and Venerable Thubten Chodron of Sravasti Abbey present lectures, discussions and contemplations on how to develop open hearted compassion for others in daily life. Through lectures, discussions and meditation learn simple tools to calm the mind and open the heart. Visiting Priests - Seattle priests Kemos Aba Gebel, Kesis Bereket, Keshi Yibabe and Deacon Shishay, along with several laypersons from Holy Trinity Church and St. Michael’s Church, will visit. During the visit, all services and music at St. Gregorios will be conducted according to the Rites of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
