Gonzaga’s Mark Few has been named head coach of Team USA for the Pan American Games to be held in July in Toronto.

Few will be assisted by Colorado’s Tad Boyle and former Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike Brown. The 12-member roster will be comprised of current pros playing overseas or in the NBA Development League, as well as returning collegiate players.

“It’s an honor to represent our country and also be associated with USA Basketball,” Few said.

The Pan Am Games are contested every four years in the year preceding the Olympics and feature teams from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean. The U.S. will play preliminary-round games against Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Brazil.
