Living an Open-Hearted Life - Local authors Dr. Russell Kolts, professor of psychology at Eastern Washington University, and Venerable Thubten Chodron of Sravasti Abbey present lectures, discussions and contemplations on how to develop open-hearted compassion for others in daily life. Flea Market - Benefits a group of 30 people who will be traveling in September from Spokane to a small rural village in Kenya. Some are going to be building a much-needed classroom at the orphanage where they will be staying and others will be traveling to even more remote villages to offer medical care and supplies.
