Fun Run on Pend d’Oreille

Citizens can show their support for one of North Idaho’s most stunning community trails – the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail – at the annual Bay Trail Fun Run on June 7.

Located along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and Sand Creek in Sandpoint, the event is a run or a walk. Participants have a choice of a 5K or 10K course. The race starts at 9 a.m. at the Edgewater Resort at City Beach.

Proceeds from the race will support efforts to protect, extend and steward the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail – a public, nonmotorized trail, connecting the communities of Sandpoint and Ponderay.

Register online at pobtrail.org until June 5.
