Escape the Ordinary: Who Pooped in the Forest? - In the forest, animals leave us clues as to who was there in the form of scat. Come learn to identify some Spokane-area forest animals by their scat. Lilac City Comicon - Ninth annual event is a comic book and pop culture show. “Nancy Jane and Fefe” Storytime and Craft - Author Ruby Waters will share the story of Nancy Jane and Fefe as well as her new book, “Grandma Moon,” a story about a little girl who sees a big orange moon hanging in the sky and thinks it’s a ball. Her grandma buys her an orange ball to teach her the difference between the moon and the ball, however, the girl calls the moon the ball and vice versa. Ride with Rotary - Enjoy a free ride on the Looff Carousel by visiting the booths of Rotary clubs from Spokane and outlying areas along with high school Interact Clubs from Rogers and Springdale high schools. Wee MAC! Pre-K Fun - Creative, playful and child-centered pre-K program for 4- and 5-year-olds. Activities foster exploration and social development in preparation for kindergarten. Children will develop creative thinking, artistic vocabulary and fine motor skills as they discover animals, bugs, weather, colors and shapes. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
