Obituary: Komar, Clifford “Lefty”

Age 96

KOMAR, Clifford “Lefty” April 17,1919 to May 25, 2015 Lefty was born in Stockett, MT to John and Anna Komar.

He was a decorated World War II Veteran receiving the Bronze Star Medal and the Bronze Arrowhead.

Lefty was also an accomplished boxer during his time in the Military.

After his distinguished Military career, lefty went on to work in construction and carpentry.

He played league pool in the APA for 23 years and loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Shirley, bothers Leroy and David, children Robert “Bubba” Hedricks, Terri Smeltzer, Shelli Komar, Chuck Komar, Cyndi Hollowell, Sandy Young, Bobby Komar, Ronny Komar and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will always be remember and missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:15PM at the state Veteran’s Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, Washington.
