State 1A, 2B, 1B track outlook

State 1A, 2B and 1B track and field championships at EWU, today through Saturday.

1A outlook

Medical Lake’s boys and King’s girls are defending champions. The Lakeside girls were runners-up last year. The Medical Lake boys have a good chance to defend.

2B outlook

Colfax’s girls and Raymond’s boys are the defending champions. Colfax will be in the hunt for a trophy again.

Mount Veron’s girls and Pomeroy boys are the defending state champions. The Valley Christian boys took third last year and the Odessa-Harrington girls were fourth. The O-H boys, fifth a year ago, will contend for a trophy.
