Obituary: Danielson, Dorothy M.

Age -79

DANIELSON, Dorothy M. (Age 78) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand- mother, friend, passed away on November 1st in her home.

Dorothy was born August 28, 1937 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She was an only child and was placed into foster care at age 8.

She grew up in Northern Ontario on a farm until she aged out at 18 and began work at Avril Aviations as a mail girl.

Where she met her first husband, Joel B. Kuykendall, with which she had two sons, Steven Miles Kuykendall and James Kuykendall.

She ended up in Ogden Utah and met her second husband, Gerald Danielson, and had her daughter Lorie Ann Keller.

They all moved to Spokane and in 1970 she gave birth to another son, Bart M. Danielson.

Dorothy worked many occupations and was a licensed cosmetologist in Utah.

In July 2005, Dorothy became a U.S. citizen, which she was so proud of.

Dorothy was generous in spirit and in life.

She would help anyone, giving them the shirt off her back and a kind word of encouragement.

She also never met anyone that, after speaking with her, would not call Dorothy a friend.

Dorothy also had some wisdoms; “don’t sweat the small stuff” and “this too shall pass”.

Dorothy Minnie Danielson is and will always be, greatly missed.

Dorothy was survived by her husband, Gerald; her four children, Steven (Beth) of Everett, James of Spokane, Lorie (Michael) of Spokane, and Bart (Kristey) of Cheney; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
