WSU women cruise in basketball exhibition game

Borislava Hristova scored 14 points and Alexys Swedlund scored 12 and Washington State took a 79-37 victory over Lewis-Clark State on Sunday in an exhibition women’s basketball game in Pullman.

The Cougars outrebounded the Warriors 59-25 and made 30 of 66 shots from the floor for 45.5 percent, including 9 of 24 from 3-point range.

WSU opens its regular season Friday at 8:30 p.m. against UC Santa Barbara at Beasley Coliseum.
