Kati Bodecker of Whitworth NWC Volleyball Coach of the Year

Kati Bodecker was named Northwest Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year for a second straight season after leading the Whitworth Pirates to a second straight regular-season championship.

Bodecker, who has led Pirates to a 19-7 overall record and 13-3 conference mark, saw four of her players earn all-conference honors – Maddye Dinsmore and Nicole Leonard, both for the second year in a row, were named to the first team; Cassandra Mendoza was a second-team choice; and Brenna Bruil earned honorable mention.

Katelyn Peterson of Idaho is the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week after averaging a double-double – 25 kills, 34 digs – in wins over Southern Utah and Eastern Washington.
