Women’s volleyball: WSU loses, Huskies win

No. 6 Stanford defeated the Washington State volleyball team 25-18, 20-25, 25-16, 25-18 on Sunday in Pullman.

McKenna Woodford led WSU (15-13, 4-12 Pac-12) with 15 kills while Kyra Holt had 12 kills and 12 digs.

The Cougars hit .169 while the Cardinal (18-6, 12-4) hit .294, including 16 kills from Merete Lutz on .464 hitting.

Huskies triumph: Washington (24-2, 14-2 Pac-12) posted its 29th straight conference home win with a 25-17, 25-18, 25-20 victory over Cal (9-18, 3-13) in Seattle.
