Uniform clock changes

In response to Lillian Lind’s “End daylight saving time” (Nov. 7), I propose moving ahead 30 minutes in the spring of 2016, then eliminating daylight saving time. Hence, the “daylight savings” would average out all year to benefit everyone.

All 50 states would observe the 30 minute change; thus the confusion of which states observe would end.

Perhaps this seems too logical. This is an easy solution that any presidential candidate could enforce. We need more logic, less apathy and whining.
