Obituary: O’Malley, Ruth Evelyn (Mcquarrie)
Age 87
She lost the love of her life Frank O’Malley, Jr. November 26, 2014 her husband of 67 years…and never wanted anything more than to be by his side.
Ruth was born to Harry and Gertrude McQuarrie on November 9, 1928 in Mower, MN.
She had two brothers and one sister that preceded her in death, who she loved dearly.
Ruth’s (grandma’s) best years were spent working at Pacific NW Bell as chief operator in Centralized Auxiliary Bureau and being a wife, mother and grandmother.
She loved nothing more than camping, fishing, traveling or just an afternoon BBQ poolside with family at her home.
She was the ultimate mother, grandmother and best friend that anyone could ask for.
She left a mark on this world that will never be forgotten.
She was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
Ruth is survived by a daughter Theresa Poole (Maurice); grandson Mike Loomis (Carrie); granddaughter Ronda Petruso (Jeff) and great-grandchildren Camryn, Karli, Ryenn, Cyler and A.J.
Funeral Service 12 Noon Friday November 20, 2015 at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 1111 S. Thor Street.
