Obituary: Schutte, Bernard J.

(Age 90) Bernie passed away on November 14, 2015.

He was born in Colorado.

He left home and joined the U.S. Navy at the outbreak of WWII.

In 1943, he met the love of his life, Jean Bowen at a dance at Natatorium Park.

They married in 1945.

They celebrated 70 years of marriage this Spring.

He worked for U.R.M.

for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children and their spouses Lynn (Bob) and Linda (Floyd).

He also leaves three granddaughters and three great-granddaughters and a special daughter, Sharon.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 South Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
